Colourful Reflections of a Picturesque Town
Located on the mouth of the Seine River, the picturesque coastal town of Honfleur is a colourful paradise in Lower Normandy. This charming destination was an inspiration for many famous painters like the Claude Monet and the Eugène Boudin.

We were here last year at the same time and found some noticeable changes - many brocante stores have opened up ( great!) and it is much busier with large numbers of tourist groups from cruises. A beautiful old harbour town, that was buzzing with life even in the cold and damp. There are so many beautiful houses and buildings and the streets are filled with galleries and handicraft shops. Quaint streets, plenty of bars/restaurants, it has a lovely, relaxed vibe. We rarely revisit holiday destinations but this was our 5th visit to Honfleur and our 3rd stay. The only negative for me is the way many of the eateries stop serving food each afternoon, making it difficult with toddler grandchildren who need to eat before the 6.30 - 7pm reopening.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom

It was also perfectly situated with just a short stroll to the harbour and all the attractions. It was a peaceful place with the rooms looking out onto a delightful courtyard. The breakfast (included in the price) was very good. We stayed in 9 hotels on this trip through northern France but this was the cheapest and also the best.
