Good location near the river. Comfy rooms...we booked for 3 nights then stayed for a week, tho had to change rooms which they managed efficiently. A fan made for a good night's sleep despite summer heat. Good choice at breakfast. Very pleasant stay. Car parking at the rear.

The hosts are just the nicest people. There are so many other positive things I could say—I’ll highlight some here: The owners have an electric car charging station with better rates than I’ve seen elsewhere. The pool is glorious. The professionalism of staff exceeded expectations—staff were attentive to your needs (and thoughtful) without being overbearing. The breakfast room’s wallpaper and decor was so beautiful—like a scene out of a magazine. The patio to our room offered a lovely private escape in the shade with lounge chairs for both sitting on lying down. Super short walk to restaurants, but our best restaurant experience was actually at the hotel! No matter if you’re used to super high end hotels or just want a homey low key experience, this hotel has a magical way of being perfect for anyone. I just love this place.

    Le Bugue is located in the centre of the Périgord and is very good as a base for numerous excursions and activities. The night markets with their numerous market stalls and the musical accompaniment is one of the biggest and most beautiful in the area - simply wonderful.

    We loved the market, it was a traditional market with local produce on sale. An attractive town with lots of lovely shops and cafes It had a TIC and museum Located on the Vezere with a bridge separating the old part from the new. 3 supermarkets and petrol station

    Our stay was splendid.

    Our stay was splendid. Nicolas and Michel did their very best to make us welcome. Michel prepared for us delicious dinners and even asked us what we would like to eat. The ambiance, the food and the wine was beyond perfect. The room was exceptional.

    Located away from any busy road but within easy access of Le Bugue and surrounding villages. Adrien (owner) takes care that his guests have a comfortable stay with all equipment working as it should. Good internet connection and streaming TV if required. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
