The chalet is a beautiful building in a great location. We especially loved the outside area and the big shared living room, which had lovely views and a super comfy couch. :-) The host was really nice and communication was easy. The self check-in worked really well and was convenient. Would definitely recommend!

For skiiing Les Houches is catering to all beginner to intermediate needs. Be early (months) to catch a ski instructor and be prepared to either cook at your accommodation or drive to somewhere else because the village doesn't offer too much for dining out.

Excellent Tourist Office.

Excellent Tourist Office. Town quieter and friendlier than Chamonix. Two good access points to the middle mountains for hiking. Bus system excellent, buses ran every 30 minutes while we were there. Quite walkable to the train station, as well.

The hotel was very average and the room was clean but old and need of refurbishment. The location itself was nice (Les Houches) and in walking distance to get a train into Chamonix Mont Blanc. The restaurant was shut for 2 out of the 3 days. but on the plus side it did mean we explored other local restaurants in the area. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the last evening and the food was ok.

good breakfast, well located next to the bus station for transfer to Chamonix or to the cable cars for Bellevue or Prarion. For sledging or beginners in skiing, there's also the Tourchet piste in walking distance. there's a pool as well and a room for kids to play. they do serve a good dinner in the hotel's restaurant. the mountain-view room has a breathtaking view, obviously :)

Location is pretty great, the bus station is just outside the property while the Les Houches Bellevue gondola is nearby, accessible on foot. The Hamam was really good, the pool also looks nice and there was underground parking making everything easily available and convenient. The staff were really friendly and tried to do their best.
