Beautiful room in the Bastide with bathtub which yes took a while to fill (massive) but all part of the charm and made for a very relaxing first night. Absolutely charming lady managing the house during the day. I didn’t have time for breakfast the following morning but it looked delicious as I was heading out

Hard to fault this place. Perfect location just outside of Lourmarin town, you have a great sized pool all to yourself, all the facilities you need for a relaxing and special holiday. Florian and Alice are wonderful hosts with great local recommendations. You must visit Caves du Chateau (Florian’s wine cellar). We will be back, thank you so much for an amazing stay!

Great place, we loved it, interior is exceptional, apartment is very interesting and unique - in a cool way. Excellent location! Owner very responsive and English speaking, we had no issues :) Perhaps just not very suitable for everyone because there are a lot of stairs.

    Lourmarin is a bustling big village with a real energy about it. Lots of places to eat and shop, with a variety of interesting sites to visit in the village. the surrounding area is full of interesting villages to visit. We could have stayed for much longer. We had great fun sitting on the pavement at Le Fontaine watching the world go by eating dinner. We also at eat the Recreation which was fun.

    Wonderful place to use as a base for touring the Luberon and...

    Wonderful place to use as a base for touring the Luberon and northern Provence. Very easy to get around on foot in the town, and ample parking, except on market day, which draws a big crowd. Get there early for best parking. There is a group of cafés at the city center which are ideal for having a coffee or a meal. We tended to prefer Café Gaby. L'Insolite restaurant was excellent! There are several other good restaurants and a lot of fun shops to peruse on a stroll around the town. It is a short walk to the Chateau, which has a picturesque field in front.

    The heart of Lourmarin, where we stayed, is extremely beautiful - cobbled streets and restaurants. If you cannot pull your bags for 100m, you may have a problem with staying in the heart, as it is paedestrian zone and the taxi needs to stop outside the zone - make a plan to pull your bag - it’s so worth it and very close to a not particularly friendly or helpful Info office, but still. Cafe Gaby is a win!!!!

    Lourmarin is a lovely village with a great choice of cafes and restaurants and a friendly atmosphere. It is a good centre for visiting other areas within Provence. It is only one hour from Marseille Airport, but unfortunately there are poor public transport connections.

    Lovely little provencal city with great markets on fridays...

    Lovely little provencal city with great markets on fridays and lots of good food. Pricey of course as all of France but I really enjoy the boutique shops which offer other clothes than your run of the mill articles that you find everywhere else... I recommend to go off season in may or september and definitively go for the classical music concerts in the chateau. Overall, I felt in love with this area:-)

    Lovely village with lots of restaurants and great mini golf course alongside a restaurant - play golf then eat :-) Lively music on both nights. Obviously popular with locals as well as tourists. Well situated for travel to other villages, lavender fields, hiking and cycling trails ....

    This was a 1-night stay to visit many art galleries in Lourmarin as an excursion from Cote d'Azur. The room looked like an innovated barn, was very calm, and cleanly maintained. Its interior items were so cute and in the rustic style. The host Etienne seemed modest and kind.

    We stayed in the hotel...the rooms are basic so don't expect luxury but they are clean and comfortable. The site itself is a 5 minute walk from the beautiful town of Lourmarin which has a variety of first class restaurants and nice wee shops to browse.
