    Montceau Les Mines is a lovely tranquil town.

    Montceau Les Mines is a lovely tranquil town. There are peacful walks along the canal with old photographs mounted in intervals at the canalside of how it looked and was used many years ago, which is very interesting. There are a number of super eateries of varying levels from fast food to high end Haute Cuisine, so something for everyone.

    Good room, good shower, good toilet paper (a lot of hotels provide very thin paper), very friendly staff, good evening meal and a good breakfast starting at 06:00. Parking was good and they had a room for bikes as well. Very near to the N70.

    It was clean, comfortable and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our dogs were welcome. The hotel boasts that its beds are particularly comfortable. Yes! They are. The restaurant was good. The breakfast was lovely.
