The hotel and its surrounding is lovely and perfectly renovated. The rooms are sparkling clean and very beautifully decorated.We stayed in the smaller room but they managed to put in all the necessary. Having a table with two chairs for having breakfast in the room is a great plus.The owners did a great work in renovation.

Nantua is set on a beautiful lake in a perfect setting. There is a great bar/restaurant beside the lake where you can while away an evening and watch the sun go down with a beautiful sunset over the lake. There are lovely walks and the town feels very peaceful.

Great location & staff were great as messaged to say we were going to arrive much later than planned as had broken down. They even called us later in the evening to explain the doors would be locked and how to get in. Night staff were very helpful. Wonderful views of the lake when we woke up and Nantua is a lovely village. We even found a market in the town square for some provisions & some lovely local patisseries.

Lovely hotel overlooking the lake. Our room was well-equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, although coffee came from a machine. Dog friendly … and good walks from the doorstep. The location is its selling point; it’s at the quiet end of the lakeside road, yet it takes just a few minutes to walk into the town. This is our second stay and we shall certainly return.

Amazing views across the lake and to the high mountains all around. Our room was spotless with very comfortable beds, great hot shower. Compact but exactly what the traveller needs. The restaurant food is first class - really good - but they don't have enough staff serving so it's pretty slow. We were not in a rush & enjoyed it very much . Lovely people running the hotel

beautifully located on the lake Nantua. great spot for a night stay. really enjoyed a morning walk with my dog around the lake. also the restaurant is very good with a fair priced menu. even though the staff speaks little English, they made sure to accommodate me.
