I loved everything! Sharon is exceptional ! Thank you again for everything ! My stay here was amazing ! If you wish to spend some time in a timeless place in the middle of the countryside, then this is the place for you! I came for one night, but ended up staying for 3! It really gave me a chance to recharge my batteries, which is exactly what I was looking for! Sharon's good food and kindness were a big part of it too! Thank you again ! And thank you for the help with the cheminée also xx

The stay was absolutely fantastic! The house so clean and lovely. Imagine a cold evening in February, entering a house and find cupcakes and fire in the fireplace.... Rachel and Steve were fabulous! A place to return! PS: Say goodbye to the warrior cat as well

What a beauty spot the inspirational hosts have created here. We loved every minute of our stay. We loved the furnished tent and facilities, such attention to detail (and efficient hot shower). We loved the family of hens and animals (can visit them on the other side of the lake) the peace and tranquility of the lakeside and the unforgettable hospitality and kindness of the host. We’d return in a heartbeat!

The gite was very nicely decorated, very functional and was bigger than I had expected. The owner met us at the gate of the property and was very friendly. Overall we had a lovely stay. If we happen to travel through the region again, it will be a pleasure stay in Gite le Patis again.

    Beautiful countryside setting with lovely small towns to visit. Really attractive rural buildings. We visited Bagnoles - de - l'Orne which had a small lake and great selection of restaurants to dine. Recommend the Hotel La Pontiere Du Lac for great tasting meals.

    The location, the facilities and the hosts were all excellent. I recommend the evening meals (a) because it was good (b) because Carole and Jean-Michael are good company and (c) because we didn't see a village or town with a restaurant within 10 miles.

    Nearby, Bagnoles is excellent to visit with stuff to do and restaurants. Area generally is a pleasant part of Normandy that we had not previously discovered. A useful stopover for a few days en route from further South towards the ferry.
