"I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Lake Maggiore. The facilities are excellent, with several pools, including a heated one that was perfect for relaxing. Both the common areas and the rooms were spotlessly clean, which made the whole experience very comfortable. The location is also a big highlight, as it is very well situated and makes it easy to access the main attractions of the region. We stayed for 5 nights in the charming old town area and...
We stayed for 5 nights in the charming old town area and would recommend the La Poste Brasserie for an evening meal. A drive round lake Saint-Point is a must, it is absolutely beautiful with lovely scenery and you can stop and sit by the lake or hire a pedallo at Saint-Point. Pontarlier is near the border with Switzerland and we drove there a couple of times, both trips taking about an hour. We went to Montreux on Lake Geneva, which was very upmarket and fabulous and also to Neuchâtel on Lac de Neuchâtel, which was also very nice, though not in the same way.Guest review bySandiUnited Kingdom - 8.0

This was a quick overnight trip en route to Switzerland. As such the Campanille was fine, as they always are - clean, warm, comfortable, good breakfast buffet, well located for us. You can buy breakfast at the hotel or save a bit and walk to the boulangerie where they serve coffee and OJ or buy from the supermarket which is closer. Friendly staff, clean a bit basic but comfortable and quiet. We were on a motorbike and found it save enough to park in tte hotel car park.
