    Porticcio is very touristy, it has a beach yes (but a very urban view), can get crowded. There are other beaches 10-15minutes drive from apartment that should be explored and have nice views. We visited A Cupulata - turtle mini zoo which was a nice experience just 25 min drive. The best supermarkets are outside Ajacio, like Carrefour, Eleclerc and Geant Casino, I found the small supermarkets near Porticcio more expensive.

    Beautiful beaches, but quite expensive.

    Beautiful beaches, but quite expensive. No buses to move around. Be careful with taxis. A ride airport hotel could be 45 eur-80 eur for less than 15 min ride. To move from one hotel to another one in the same area (2 km distance) the ride was 20 eur and ee waited for 1 hour to get the taxi. The driver told us taxis are not interested in short / cheap rides. Restaurants and hotels are expensive

    The Maquis is a real old world experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a private balcony and a lovely view across the bay to Ajaccio. Fabulous outdoor and indoor pools and lovely gardens. Staff and welcoming and very helpful. The fine dining experience was excellent. Plenty of free parking. Only hotel with a private beach - unfortunately it was raining so didnt have a chance to visit.

    Really friendly welcome from the owners! Clean, comfortable property with a lovely terrace and the children enjoyed the hammock! Felt private as the house is set down below the owners place. Comfy beds, good aircon system and a nice living area. Perfect for our one night stay. Recommend visiting the turtle sanctuary and enjoyed a delicious meal at L’Escale in Porticcio.

    The hotel was very well located in the Ajaccio Bay. The breakfast was ok. The front desk very helpful and friendly personal. One can park outside in the street without paying the hotel parking fee. The beach is in front of the hotel. There are many restaurants around. Ajaccio is close but the traffic to get there is horrendous.

    Everything! Close to airport. Amazing view to see even from bedroom. Really large living room.Next to Agosta fun beach ( jet ski ,parasailing…) Helpful stuff. New flat in the new house. Best decision to stay in Corsica. We advise to choose this apartment for everybody. Big thank you Fred!

    the unit was great size and comfortable. The private patio and jacuzzi were also very nice. We liked that it felt private and away from the main hotel and noise, especially children whose parents left them unattended.
