I had an amazing 7-night stay at Golden Tulip Porto-Vecchio. Cozy room with a beautiful view of the sunrise — absolutely stunning! The heated pool was a real highlight, perfect at any time of day. The staff were outstanding — professional, friendly, and always helpful. Vivat to the hotel! I’ll definitely come back again!

Fantastic location with lovely views across the Port. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully furnished. Excellent breakfast/brunch offering and snacks available later in the day. Staff were great at recommending places to eat dinner or visit and we discovered some great locations thanks to their help. Car definitely required but that will help you discover more of this beautiful island.

This is exactly what I expect from a 4-star hotel in France. Top location, excellent host, outstanding service (they even booked us a fantastic restaurant overnight), and great advice on a snorkeling spot, the best we had on the island. Everyone on the property was genuinely helpful, from the room maid I passed on the stairs (whom even asked if I needed a hand with my luggage, a first for me!) to the host.

This hotel is great! The whole team is so welcoming, the property is large but also intimate. The daily poolside breakfast with a view of the bay is amazing! Nicolas was great at welcoming us and making us feel at home! You can walk to the beach/a couple of restaurants and it is just a short drive to many major places to see! I would definitely stay here again, it was both calm and relaxing and fun!!

Great location,you may think it is a little overpriced but it is very practical especially for family. Wake early,take your car from hotel parking ,25 min to one of the two beautiful beaches, come back after 2 hours when the sun burns , eat in center porto vecchio,go to hotel in a very clean and climatised room,sleep and afternoon repeat the same.

    There are two parts to the town - harbour front about 5 mins...

    There are two parts to the town - harbour front about 5 mins walk; citadel about 15-20 mins walk. It is steep uphill to citadel but there are routes that smooth out the walk. Old town is scenic with lots of restaurants doing Corsican food - quite competetive on pricing as a result so you can get 3 courses for €26 and the place is buzzing in the evening. Harbourside has fewer restaurants and more typical sea side food. If you hire a car, it will likely be electric. The main charging points are at the Auchan supermarket about 2km north of Porto-Vecchio. Despite the beaches to the south, eg Palombaggia, being more famous we found Pinarellu to the North as a great beach location

    A beautiful little town with a lovely marina and bars to sit and watch the world go by. The town is up quite a steep hill but is a nice, compact centre with a lot to see and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to spend time relaxing and winding down.

    Superb beaches in Porto Vecchio area and beautiful views. Very nice old town. Avoid mid summer as too hot and crowded May and September perfect Head up to Col de Bavella for superb walking and views, incl Ospedale forest en route Bonifacio is also fantastic

    I didn't find anything particularly great about Porto-Vecchio. It's close enough to Banifacio, which, in my opinion, has a lot more to see and do. Porto-Vecchio is okay to pass by, but I wouldn't stay there specifically.

    The old city was lovely, lots to explore, great selection of restaurants - some with wonderful views on terraces overlooking the marina. Centrally located to fan out to lots of beautiful beaches, the mountains, and other quaint villages and towns.

    This area has the best beaches on the island, and also two of the loveliest towns to visit - Porto-Vecchio, and Bonifacio. Numerous hiking opportunities, too, although we did not have enough time for them. Car is a must here, as public transport is non-existent. Figari airport is very easy to get in/out of, and is 20-30 min from all the key beaches/towns/sites on this side of the island

    The hotel looks rather businesslike from the outside but appearances are deceptive and the interior is tastefully furnished in a modern style with comfortable beds. We had no problem with the breakfast - everything was fresh and delicious - other than it is very easy to over-order, which we did. As seems common in Corsica, you order from a menu and the portions are on the generous side. This is not a complaint; just something to be aware of. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful, offering a welcome drink and upgrading our room.

    Cathy was a very attentive host and quick to answer any questions or help us with suggestions for eating out. The apartment was compact but had everything you could need for a short stay. The surrounding apartments had guests but there was no noise from them at all. The location was good for a short drive to Porto-Vecchio for eating out.

    Excellent location to explore all the south-east beaches of Corsica and to go for a night walk in Porto-Vecchio. The 3 bed-room house was perfect for 5 and was comfortable for the rest nights. It was nice to enjoy dinner on the porch. We were already aware of the mosquitoes issue so we were prepared with citronella candles and repellent.

    The coziest hotel I saw in Corsica. An heaven of peace. 9 rooms only, all with terraces. Perfect decorations inside the room and in the public area. Warmth of the entire staff (especially Golene). We will certainly come back.
