It was a clean and comfy cottage in a beautiful location. With super friendly owners who helped us more than we could ask for. Their garden is amazing en beautifully kept. And all was very child friendly, but not child orientated so it easily accommodates all types of guests.

Everything was perfect! Thomas took care of everything and was so welcoming with us and the other guests. The room was clean and cozy and the bathroom was huge and with a bidet! The bed was really soft! The breakfast was delicious: the French breakfast with cheese is recommended to taste the best of France. The place is amazing!

Very nice set of chalés in a lovely location in the Normandy countryside. Perfect size and atmosphere for coupkes. Very friendly staff who help you right away as soon as you ask for something. Unfortunately we didn't have breakfast there so I can't review that. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at L'Anctovilliere, a beautiful landhouse that exceeded my expectations in every way. The two-room apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, with a cozy bedroom featuring a shower. The pool was a lovely bonus, open to guests from 5-8 pm, although I must note that its depth of 2.20m might not be suitable for very young children. However, for families with older kids or adults, the pool was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Speaking of which, there are plenty of interesting places to visit within a 100km radius of Anctoville. Some highlights include: - The historic city of Rouen, with its stunning cathedral and medieval architecture ( approx. 70km) - The picturesque village of Honfleur, with its charming harbor and artistic heritage (approx. 90km) - The beautiful Normandy coast, with its stunning beaches and scenic views (approx. 80-100km) The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the landhouse was peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend L'Anctovilliere to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Normandy region. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at L'Anctovilliere and would definitely return in the future. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

Welcoming hosts, very attentive and friendly. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed (no plastic undersheet thankfully, I find them most uncomfortable). Monsieur recommended a local restaurant which was very traditional and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent, crepes made with Calvados, homemade confiture, cheese and fresh bread plus some small cakes somewhat like madeleines (I think they were called called “financiers“). On the morning of our departure we were invited to pick walnuts from the tree in the garden, which we promptly did. Plastic bags were even supplied! When we returned home the walnuts were dried and they were absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend this establishment.
