This is a great hotel in a wonderful location. After breakfast, I stayed in the restaurant to work and nobody asked me to move on, I was just left alone to get on with what I was doing, and that was perfect. Because of this I stayed for lunch. The food was superb. Thanks team.

Eric was a wonderful host. Even before we arrived he made sure we turned up at the right place and was very accommodating when we were delayed with our arrival. He also made sure we were comfortable in the property and gave us recommendations on what to do. The property was gorgeous and had so many original features. The bedrooms were big and the living room where he had breakfast was so lovely and light (I wish I lived there full time)! His pets are an added bonus and ever so friendly.

    The area was beautiful with some lovely towns in the area particularly St. Emilion. Lovely vineyards to visit and sample, with great food available. Very close to Bordeaux so easy to do a city and country break
