The unit is in a quiet nice neighborhood and a short walk to the main city commercial area. The main commercial area was fine but not really a tourist attraction. The castle self-tour was great. Walking the lakeside was nice. There is a good variety of restaurants. Beautiful small town, excellent cafès and small restaurants, especially down the harbour in the summer, nice place for shopping and relaxing. I also always get natural mineral water from the mineral water spring. The Christmas Market I saw yesterday - it's so cute and absolutely amazing! There are regular ships to/from Lausanne-Ouchy (Switzerland) which adds up to the nice experience. A beautiful location on the south bank of Lake Geneva.
A beautiful location on the south bank of Lake Geneva. The town has a ‘municipal plage’ where you can swim in the lake or pools. A good base for exploring Western Switzerland and The Italian Alps. The location for us was perfect. This Ibis Styles is what I would say - quirky but would use it again without a doubt when we next visit the area. The breakfast available was very good , staff great helpful and polite.
