We had an incredible stay at Château de Contay - a great location to visit the ANZAC memorial service at Villers-Bretonneux. Our hosts were fabulous - so kind and helpful with dietary requirements and making sure we were welcome and looked after each day. One particular note was the bed linens and pillows were very soft and of top quality! Made for a very restful and peaceful two nights stay. Will be recommending this to friends and family who visit from Australia!

We had a wonderful time here! The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and made our stay very special by having a drink with us while talking about the history of the area. We don't speak any French but the hosts were great and with some help from our smartphones we could communicate. The place is very impressive and pretty, the bathrooms absolutely clean and the bed very comfortable. We felt like royals for a night. For breakfast we had, besides a large choice of bread and cheese, also freshly made omelettes for us and I loved the homemade jam! I would love to stay here again!

Location very good for visiting the War sites in the area. Outdoor area at rear of property had seating and also a hot tub,. There was a pool but it was not available during our stay.

Beautiful and cozy apartment, pleasant and friendly host. It looks exactly like the photos, and everything has been recently renovated with taste and high-quality materials. The kitchen, although we didn't use it, is equipped with everything you need.
