Antrim is nice and lovely for a get away holiday from the hussle and bustles of city life. The town has lots of trees and town centre have most of the regular stores like Lidl, Asda, SPAR. for easy shopping. Ill not lie this was just a one night stopover for me but I do know the area has an immense cultural heritage spanning 1000s of years. My advice to all is the same for any location get out and explore eat were the locals eat soak up the atmosphere. Everyone I came across was friendly and helpful. There are a few interesting places in Antrim, the gardens and the lake shore area are very pretty. Here are excellent facilities for a number of sports including golf , swimming , boating and leisure centre type activities.
