Location was excellent and the hotel was great. The lift was a godsend and I loved the drying rack over the bath. Spacious room and meal in the hot was excellent. Recommend this hotel for sure.

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel...

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel on the banks of Loch lomand as its very close. The hills are walking distance from the hotel so on the second day we walked up Ben ime. The views are spectacular if you have not been to the west of Scotland you willl be impressed and the location is so close to Glasgow, difficult to believe a large city is so close.

Amazing part of the country with wonderful scenery.

Amazing part of the country with wonderful scenery. Most staff are extremely pleasant and friendly, but not all. Arrochar is a bit of a one horse town, although it's a great base for touring some amazing parts of the country. It's a very relaxing village with a lovely walk along the lochside.

Beautiful quiet location, stunning scenery. The Village Inn was great. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Restaurant had good menu choices both for dinner and breakfast. We'd booked this for our last night in Scotland before our return flight, would have loved to stay longer.

Weather not great second day but didn’t spoil our break . Took a very scenic drive up the “Rest and Be Thankful “ via Loch Fyne oyster bar and garden centre to Inveraray . Dogs loved the walk through the grounds up to the castle . Lovely places for lunch in the town .The George Hotel a favourite of ours .

Everything was top notch. Staff were very good, nice and helpful. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed very comfy. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. The surrounding area was beautiful and our room had a loch view. The whole Inn had a lovely welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel staff were rude and unhelpful and to beat it all the cleaning staff stole my bag with all of my liquids including perfumes and lotions and when I told the reception they could not have cared less

This hotel is on par with a Travelodge, ideal if you just need a base. The hotel was generally clean. All staff aside from the lady who brought our food over were incredibly friendly and a real credit to the hotel. Being so close to the water was lovely and it's such a short drive to Loch Lomond. Dog friendly and the rates for dogs are fair compared to most other hotels. We were on the second floor and the water pressure was AMAZING, once we figured out how to work the shower it was brilliant! Beds were also sooooooo comfy.

From the moment we arrived and were met by Jackie we felt welcomed and comfortable.. She was absolutly fabulous as was Ian her boss. They could not have been more professional yet super friendly.All the staff were lovely and very willing to share info on where to visit and what was available at the hotel. We were very happy with the restaurant and the varied menu.The fact Ian remembered our previous days preferences was impressive .

This is an economy option in Arrochar, I adjusted my expectations and so I had an ok stay. Staff was cordial and attentive. The place was functional but in need of renovation. Room was small but satisfactory; I would appreciate more hangers as there was no closet due to the small size of the room. I did not try restaurant nor breakfast, but the hotel was an ok choice for sleeping.

Arrochar is a strategic point to visit Loch Lomond and Alpes, and Melissa's place is very cosy and familiar. She's very friendly and kind, and if you are not in hurry she will find the way and the occasions to make you feel part of the local community. Excellent breakfast
