Rooms were clean. Within comfortable walking distance to town centre. Rooms accessible by stairs so if you have mobility issues, I would make a suggestion to ask the property to stay in the downstairs room. Enjoyed my stay, and would stay again.

+ A personal and warm welcome on arrival by owners who are very relaxed and most helpfull. + Loved the animals (horses, chickens, dogs, a cat, etc.) on Pear Tree Farm. + Room was private and clean, bed very comfortable and clean. WIFI present. + Kitchen had all essentials for cooking and a cuppa. Wonderfull fresh eggs from own chicken, bread, milk, yoghurts, orange juice, porridge, tea/coffee, etc. All for a healthy breakfast / lunch. Towels, oven, kettle, toaster, hob, pans and so on. + Lovely seating spot with views over fields. + Location: very safe, sufficient private parking, day starts at sunrise as animals wake up, I loved it! No so good for late sleepers. + The pub 'The Nags Head' closeby. + Clear instructions from host how to get there. Quick response when messaging through Booking. + A lovely hideaway from city life. Thanks Sue and Tim, see you again soon!

We booked the larger ground floor apartment for ourselves which we had previously stayed in. My son stayed in the apartment above. Ideal for us all. Comfortable, modern and clean. Reassuring that the friendly owners are on the premises. Lovely to have access to a garden and parking. Just across the road from a pub if you don't want to cook.

This place was a total letdown.

This place was a total letdown. First of all, there is zero privacy — the neighboring cabin is right next door, and people could literally see us coming out of the shower and bathroom. None of this was shown in the photos, which feels incredibly misleading and frankly unacceptable. The cleanliness was also appalling. The kitchen was grimy, and the cabin was full of cobwebs — it felt neglected and unhygienic. To make things worse, my partner had a severe allergic reaction (possibly due to dust or mold), and we were forced to leave a whole night early in an emergency. If you’re planning to bring food, beware: the ice packs they provide do not keep anything cold, so bring your own or your food will spoil. The location is also terrible — hard to find, right next to a road, and literally in the middle of nowhere. There’s absolutely nothing to do. The host was nice at first but completely stopped replying to messages after we left. Overall, a bad experience that left a really bitter taste. Would not recommend.

Cosy and had everything I needed for my overnight stay.

Cosy and had everything I needed for my overnight stay. Nice touch with supplying some essentials like milk, bread, biscuits teabags and coffee - very welcome. I would use it again. Next time I would plan my route to pass a shop to grab a few extra bits as there are no shops close by - nothing crucial, but if you need anything more (I did bring my evening meal stuff and the kitchen is well equipped to do that)
