Excellent room. Clean and comfy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. We stayed here before, about 8 years ago, so we knew what to expect. We were guests at a Scottish wedding that was being held in the Banchory Lodge, and that was perfectly arranged as well.

We received a very warm welcome from Lynda who showed us the apartment and handed over the keys. The apartment is spacious, has everything we could wish for and was very comfortable. We would have loved to use the balcony, unfortunately it was too cold, but it is a real plus. Duncan, the owner, was very responsive and helped with any requests immediately. We would definitely stay again.

Brilliant wee cottage/bothy in the hamlet of Finzean. Cosy, and a home from home with a lovely welcome pack including biscuits and wine. Close to the farm shop for some nice goodies or a coffee. Angus was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful

    A beautiful setting with the river running past.

    A beautiful setting with the river running past. However our room facing the entrance and carpark made it very difficult to relax.Guests gather at the entrance and late at night it is very difficult to sleep. The staff were wonderful and helped us find alternative accommodation in the town . It is a shame we were not told about a wedding party so we could have made a choice whether to stay rather than listen to the celebrations which we fully understand would always be noisy.

    Loved the quaint shops and country town feel of the place. Knowledgeable staff in the WH Smiths newsagents and lovely lunch at the pancake place and craft shop. Park was a beautiful place to visit and there was a well used Turkish/pizza establishment opposite the road near the car park which we enjoyed eating at. Very relaxing place to stay whilst visiting relatives at the nearby hospital.

    Unfortunately we were only there for two nights for a sports event, we didn't have time to look around the area but the scenery was wonderful and there are a lot of interesting places to visit. Some nice pubs and places to eat. Well worth a visit.

    Good places for dog walking if you have dogs and some dog friendly hotels to be found.(Really good pet shop too) Some good shops with local produce fish, baking delights and good outdoors shops. Feuch Bridge not to be missed! Both Castles very interesting

    Lovely small town where everything you need is within a short walk. Great history with plenty of places to see. Lovely park with small lake. Plenty of parking. Lots of quality shops with good cafes/ coffee shops. Plenty of places to eat (restaurants/bars)

    This was one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve been to. Close to the Main Street, but hidden enough to be peaceful and quiet. Big space. Everything good size, quantity and quality. It felt really like home and I think that is because the host and the lady who manages it (and she is such a kind and amazing lady) doesn’t think of it like a hotel with minimum to provide for maximum gains. Everything you would need was there and everything was in abundance. If I go there ever again I wouldn’t stay at any other place!

    The hotel previously did not offer breakfast but now has an optional continental breakfast basket. If you want something cooked then there are options in the town. The rooms are clean and tidy but fairly basic. It is a good place to stay if what you need is a room without lots of extras - in my case I was visiting relations. It is a 'local' for many with a good bar and sport TV. A pizza business has also opened within the hotel but I did not try it on this occasion. Bus stop right outside the door

    The room was comfortable but a bit overpriced for what it offered. Very small bathroom, average bed, maybe a mini fridge and a smart tv would have enhanced the experience. Breakfast was good, there was a small buffet and the option of a hot main dish, good range of options. The surroundings of the hotel offered great scenery.
