When we arrived our room smelt musty and dirty then we couldn’t get the electric to work apparently our room is renowned for this and there is a knack for wiggling the fitting. Comfortable stay in a characterful hotel in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff, with large rooms and super comfy beds. Nice and warm room and good hot water in the shower. Our room (Number 12) was grubby and covered in dust and cobwebs. The slats on the venetian blind were taped together with sellotape. The lavatory wouldn't flush, the vent on the wall above the lavatory was covered in dust, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years.
