Location for wedding at Bawtry Hall is ideal. Restaurant prices a bit steep but plenty of options on the High Street. Staff very friendly. Breakfast options good and always well stocked. Car park is pay on arrival but is easy to do & reasonably priced. Noisy room above the bar where the staff were playing music after it was closed. Asked them to turn it down twice which they did but didn't turn it off until 1.30 am. Also noise from the carpark for sainsbury's outside and the road so not much sleep. The small market town is lovely and is all lit up at night.
The small market town is lovely and is all lit up at night. Plenty of wine bars with nice places to eat, we went into 4 different places and they were all furnished and decorated to a high stantard, the menus were good. Nice size and bed were very comfortable. Could have asked for any more. David met us with keys and was an excellent host, he couldn’t do of enough for us.
