I didn't take breakfast, but I saw what was served and it looked very tempting. We dined there and the quality was really superb. But you need to book, it gets very busy.

I stayed here last weekend with some of my family and it was a fantastic experience. The Fountain Hotel is in an excellent location for the town and is situated perfectly for some of the best views the UK has to offer. The rooms were lovely and clean but the big difference about this hotel is the brilliant staff. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and pleasure and the Fountain Hotel is up there with the best for customer experience.

Beautiful refurbished cottage. Rooms were fantastic. Spacious and bathroom was large. We also had a bath but the other room did not but was still magnificent. Lynne was a great hostess. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable. Her dog Clara was great too and loved a pat. Lovely little village.

An attentive, helpful host who put himself out to accommodate a very early start for us providing a lovely breakfast before we left. We needed for nothing during our stay. Everything had been thought of. We would definitely recommend to others.
