The staff were all so friendly, especially on reception. They made us feel very welcome and were lovely and chatty. We had a great room on the top floor with an amazing view. Breakfast was great and a really good variety of things.

Perfect location at the Grand Central station, also very close to historical centrum and canals. Very good restaurants close to the hotel (one in the same building and other across the street) And 24/7 grocery store behuind the corner. All the hotel was very clean. Well the rooms are small but as small as you can see at the hotel introduction.

Top-Class Shopping, Culture and Sport

The UK's 2nd largest city, Birmingham is one of its top cultural centres. Well-known for the M6 Spaghetti Junction interchange, it is a surprisingly green city with lots of open spaces.

Most city centre hotels in Birmingham are near New Street Station. To the east is the futuristic architecture of the new Bull Ring shopping centre, and just behind is Digbeth Coach Station. To the west is Victoria Square, home of the town hall and a German Christmas Market.

The Mailbox is one of the newest additions to the Birmingham shopping scene, and behind it is one of the canals converging on the Gas Street Basin. By one canal are the ICC (International Convention Centre) and the NIA (National Indoor Arena), both venues that host major events.

Just opposite is Brindleyplace, a canal-front complex of restaurants, bars and hotels near Broad Street – the main nightlife area. It is popular with students at nearby Birmingham University, whose clock tower is modelled on the one in Siena. Just south in Bournville is Cadbury World, and there are several hotels on Hagley Road to the north, which are available on Booking.com.

The city is also known for sports – Aston Villa and Birmingham City are the top football clubs, while Edgbaston Cricket Ground hosts international matches. Other Birmingham attractions include Hockley’s Jewellery Quarter and the NEC arena by Birmingham International Airport.

Stayed in St Paul’s House & celebrated a friends birthday.Fabulous food staff who made our stay special,great location so many lovely places around the famous Jewelley Quarter. Easy to get to from New street station,jump on the tram.

Lots of rubbish everywhere.

Lots of rubbish everywhere. Where we stayed the air was filled with the smell of weed! But as we got closer to the arena it was much nicer. We did visit a lovely pub the malt house I think it was called. Nice atmosphere and good food.

My wife and I were invited to Birmingham University to attend a lecture by Clive Myrie, which was excellent. Having been a graduate from the university we tend to visit once or twice each year. We visited the pen museum and the jewellery quarter as well as other places of interest.

We loved the jewelry quarter and found someone to enlarge my wedding rings reasonably. We enjoyed the museum and art gallery - such a beautiful building . Most galleries have not re opened so we will have to go back to see their extensive collection of paintings

We travelled over for an NEC show.

We travelled over for an NEC show. So easy from airport into NEC, then onto train into Birmingham for one night. We were really impressed with Birmingham - lots of character buildings, looked like great restaurants and bars, a lot of them in beautiful old restored banks etc. Can recommend!

The room itself was cozy The pillows were comfortable The location in the city centre you cannot go wrong The part around the hotel is quiet and peaceful particularly at night I felt safe there and I always do. It's the place I always choose in Birmingham as it is familiar and staff are lovely apart from a certain one in housekeeping which is another story. The complimentary water machine is a nice touch particularly on hot nights Food is amazing

The Park Regis is a very nice hotel in a good location for Birmingham city centre. The decor is plush and up-to-date and the rooms are a good size with large beds. The staff on reception were very nice and checked us in relatively quickly and gave us rooms next to each other. All in all that is what I expect from a hotel of this calibre.

Excellent aparthotel in city centre location. Stayed the night for a flight out the next morning and this was an ideal stop - comfortable and well-equipped with check out available in the early hours. Ideally located for travelling to Birmingham international - bus stop is just outside the building!
