    I visit Bolton quite regularly and it's full of interesting history. It has som great restaurants. And the Cherry Tree in Blackrod has tbe best steak I know. Frasers Butchers also is top shelf, with their Pork Pies and Pork Sausages an absolute stand out.

    Bolton is a town on the edge of the M61/M62, making it a great place as an affordable base for Greater Manchester or onward travel. The Britannia is between Jnct 5-6 on the M61, hence minutes of the motorway, it is close to the Bolton Wanderers shopping complex with cinema and food outlets, two major superstores and soon the M&S Manchester flagship store. 25 Minutes from the Trafford Center.

    I was there for my Son's Wedding, which was at Bolton School...

    I was there for my Son's Wedding, which was at Bolton School. This place was a beautiful setting for a wedding and the Staff were so helpful and charming. It was also the weekend for the Bolton Good Fest. This is a not to be missed experience. You can taste and buy food from all over the North West, which is great boost for local produce

    Bolton has some fantastic green areas around the town just outside the centre. lots of beautiful walks and country parks. definitely did not expect the wider beauty of the back roads and hills at the foot of Bolton. Friendly people and lots of lovely cultural buildings and sights. close access also to Manchester and the lovely centre of Bury and bury market

    I loved the town city and visited it almost every day.

    I loved the town city and visited it almost every day. It had all my favorite stores next, lidl, aldi, tjmaxx etc. I love that the university is just by the town center and it gave me that feeling of being back in school

    The staff were brilliant, lady that checked us in was extremely nice and welcoming and also this morning when we left. Unfortunately not sure of her name. Also one of the door staff, who was very kind with our 6 year Son. The experience of watching a football match from a hotel patio was exceptional, as a massive football fan from Scotland, absolutely loved it and what a view to wake up to. Would love to do it again.

    Stayed there 2 years ago to go and see a friend. It was one of the best places I could find that wasn't too far out of Bolton Compered to the over places it is nice to have a house inside of a room like a hotel.

    In terms of value for money, it was spot on. It not a 5 star hotel, it tierd, but for the price it was extremly good value. I come to Bolton 1 or 2 nights each month and it will be my choice in the future.
