The apartment is located on a quiet street almost on the sea front and in easy walking distance to the centre of town. It has obviously been fitted out with love and care and an artistic eye making it a welcoming place to stay. Ilona is a joy to deal with and has thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. We will certainly book the apartment again next time we visit. Thank you Ilona X

What a friendly staff! Check-in was easy, and though the car park was full, they created a space for us. The restaurant had good selections. The room was clean and comfortable.

What a lovely heritage property in a great location. Just across from the train station and in walking distance of all that Dundee’s waterfront has to offer. Dundee itself was a very pleasant surprise and staying at the Malmaison Dundee made the experience even better. The welcoming and friendly staff, the quality of the food … everything was great! That breakfast that was included in the rate was excellent.

The breakfast was superior to that of many other hotels with plenty of choices that were replenished throughout the time it was served. They also had the option of making your own breakfast sandwich (BAM) if you didn’t have time to eat in. Additionally, the dining area looked out on the River Tay so the ambiance was very pleasant and you could linger as long as you want.

    A charming coastal resort with plenty to do nearby. The town has history, and is well supplied with places to chill, eat and drink. Dundee with its museums and galleries is a five-minute train ride away, so Broughty Ferry facilitates a visit without needing to stay amongst the crowds, The castle, with its museum, has an excellent display of the town's history - and it's all eminently walkable.

    Great location with all you need for a great break, Beaches, Castles, children's play areas, great views and amenities, great place to spend time with great shops, bars and restaurants. Try Jolly's for food and a drink, or Visochi's for great ice cream or Italian food. Nice shops, and great Cafe culture. Great atmosphere and only 1 minute from the beach

    Beautiful area with lovely waterfront and upgraded promenade. A great variety of shops, cafes and pubs and independent retailers. Good central transport links to Dundee and coastal route. Friendly and safe area.

    A pleasant town which must be very good in summer.

    A pleasant town which must be very good in summer. Easy access to main forms of travel and visiting surrounding areas. Dined at The Ship Inn which was very good and also the Glass House Pavillion for morning coffee/breakfast. Parking was problematic at times owing to the nature of the streets but was manageable.

    What a gem of a town 😘Lovely town with everything within walking distance. Lovely walks along the river, everywhere clean and well maintained. Friendly, helpful people wherever you go. There is a variety of small local shops and plenty places to eat serving good food. Easy commute to Dundee and east coast.

    Suburb of Dundee that has a real community feel to it with plenty of local independent shops, pubs restaurants etc. Well placed for visiting Dundee by train (7 minute journey) or by walking or cycling the seafront path which takes you right into the city.

    Ideal location within Broughty Ferry. Close to pubs, restaurants and railway station. Good on-road parking available. The flat has great decor, good bed and living accommodation, with a well equipped kitchen. We were only there for 2-nights but could easily have stayed longer. Ilona was very helpful and informative regarding local restaurants and amenities in the area. Would certainly recommend the Fuzzy Duck for short stays or longer if exploring this part of Scotland.

    Location is perfect for visiting Broughty Ferry, parking, quiet but 2 minutes walk in to town, and if you want to get to Dundee, buses every 10 minutes or so from 1 minute away. Property is fantastically equipped and appointed too, great home away from home. Managing agents were great too, had a couple of small issues, all solved with no fuss, promptly.

    Quiet and short walking distance to the centre of Broughty ferry. Was staying here as I had recently sold my property and currently looking for another in the same area. Needed a minimum of two bedrooms for my daughter who is at school in the area. Very clean, comfortable and Grove Road has always been a quiet street.

    The apartment is lovely, beautifully presented, conveniently located and very clean. early everything you could wish for was there, including coffee, tea and a bottle of fizz! The decor was tasteful throughout, and the large lounge very comfortable. And just a short walk into the charming Broughty Ferry Centre.
