The staff on site were amazing! I had to book the hotel last minute for my wife who was travelling alone. The front desk staff helped her through all her travelling changes and even walked her to the bus stop so she didn’t get lost! Absolutely amazing service!

Layout was nice and comfortable; room was clean and appealing; restaurant meals were nice and staff were helpful. Easy check-in (done online) and only had to pop in and pick up the key. Car Park had plenty of room and while a small fee was payable, it was very handy and worth it.

    Very attractive town, full of Regency terraces (Bath's younger brother). Some excellent restaurants and pubs. But double check before you visit Sudeley Castle - went all the way to Winchcombe on the bus only to find the Castle closed without any notice! But Winchcombe itself is a pretty village.

    Lovely town with a Bath" vibe to it. I was in Cheltenham for a dance weekend. The bus / coach stop in Cheltenham is fairly convenient to get to the centre of town - and the coach ticket I had was half the price of the train ticket.

    The Old Courthouse Pub - go upstairs to see the old courtroom (available for event hire) and the toilets used to be the prisoners' cells (& rumoured to be haunted!). The Turkish Kitchen - great food, good value & very peasant staff.

    It's a lovely town. Plenty of open space and parks.

    It's a lovely town. Plenty of open space and parks. Good walks; wide streets, lots of trees and park areas. Surrounding area is picturesque. Architecture is interesting.Wide variety of eateries. Bus tour would have been better with a commentary (like Bath, Oxford & York). Town is much larger than 20 years ago. Road closures caused by roadworks were a pain but a great place to visit with lots going on throughout the year. Uplifting and vibrant.Treat yourself. GWSR & Promenade were highlights.

    We only stayed for one night in Cheltenham at the Rising Sun Hotel. The hotel is outside of Cheltenham. However, the location of the hotel above Cheltenham was ideal for walking. Right behind the Hotel was Cleeve Common and Cleeve Hill, which had many footpaths to choose from. The views from the Common were fantastic. There is a golf course on the Common which appeared to be very popular.

    We had a wonderful stay at Primrose Cottage in Cheltenham. The cottage was charming, clean, and well-equipped, making it a very comfortable base for our trip. Every day, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful surrounding villages, each one had its own unique charm and character. The location was perfect for day trips, and we truly appreciated the peaceful countryside atmosphere. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would happily recommend this place to others.

    had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was incredibly spacious, with beautiful design details and a very comfortable, super-large bed. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom, which featured lovely elements that really added to the overall experience. The location was perfect, within walking distance of both the city center and the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, which made it incredibly convenient. Overall, everything about this stay exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it.

    Hotel was easy to find and we paid to park in the hotel car park which was convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was comfortable. A very short walk to the town centre with plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants. Did not stay for breakfast but will certainly stay here again if we are ever back in Cheltenham.

    Breakfast had a great selection, one of best continental breakfasts Ive had. Good selection of spa facilities. About 15 mins out of central Cheltenham. Noticed that even walking around the hotel, the staff made an effort to acknowledge you and say hello.
