Bedroom right above entrance to hotel so impossible to sleep until hotel and bar closed at midnight. Complained to manager about the food poisoning from the breakfast but as expected he denied any liability. I am a British doctor and had nothing else to eat 24 hours prior to arriving at the hotel and for the 12 hours from leaving and returning to my home. It has real character. The bar area by the inglenook fireplace was perfect for relaxing with a drink after a long drive.
