A fantastic place to spend the bank holiday weekend.
A fantastic place to spend the bank holiday weekend. It was a well laid out cottage, perfect for a couple with dogs. The little garden and patio was well kept and because the other cottages were close by it didn't feel like we were in the middle of no where. Very easy to get to big supermarkets, pubs and walk in the nearby villages/towns if you have a car. The owners were pleasant, helpful and thoughtful. There is a short safe lead free circular walk for the dogs if you don't fancy heading out. If you do there are many long trails for the most energetic of dogs. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even tea and coffee available but if you actually want to prepare a meal there is limited crockery and no basics like salt or oil. As it's a dog friendly cottage it would have been great to have some dog bowls for food/water. The sofa unfortunately is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.
