A wonderful location to enjoy peace & beauty in the countryside. Self-service breakfast consisted of an excellent choice of cereals, fruit, cheese & ham, boiled eggs, coffee/tea etc. that could be eaten in a well-equipped ensuite kitchen/dining room or weather permitting, outside on the terrace. Good sized bedroom & bathroom, nicely decorated and very clean. Perfect!!

The staff were lovely, the room was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, the Timothy Taylor beer perfect. I especially loved the mini-fridge with bottle of milk in (and cereal).

This accomodation is absolutely spotless. It is decorated with taste and offers snacks, tea and drinks that you can pay online. It's fairly close to the station, you can walk and get a little coffee there before hoping on a 40mn train ride to the center of London. It's super easy to get to by driving from the airport too. The hosts are adorable.

It was in a beautiful rural location not far from Saffron Walden and 30 mins from Stansted airport. The interior was really cozy and welcoming - we really like the choice of colours and solid wood furniture. All the basics, such as shower gel, bread, milk, coffee, clean towels and bedding had been thought of.

Wow what can we say, a perfect spot for an overnight stay.

Wow what can we say, a perfect spot for an overnight stay. The hosts are absolutely lovely and the property as a whole is stunning. We were worried we would not have time to eat, we need not have. We arrived to find meats, salad, biscuits, chocolate, crisps, croissants, bread, butter, cheese, tea & coffee, milk, treats for our dog and much more. Our dog was treated as importantly as we were and the bed was very comfortable. We would not hesitate in staying here again.

We thought this simply was one of the best places we had...

We thought this simply was one of the best places we had stayed in. We had tickets for a concert in the splendid Saffron Walden concert Hall and went to Cambridge on the way home . Saffron is a very attractive and historic small town. Audley End near by is an English Heritage managed country house and estate. There are lots of walks from Debden and this is certainly a good place to spend a few days if you need or want to 'chill out'. We very much hope to come again.

Nothing much in the village of Debden itself; no shops, one...

Nothing much in the village of Debden itself; no shops, one pub, a church a bit off the way, a Nepalese restaurant. That's about it. The pub does good meals & has good beer. Nearby places - Saffron Walden & Thaxted worth visiting.

We needed a place to stay close to Cambridge and near to...

We needed a place to stay close to Cambridge and near to Audley End House. Debden is a sleepy village which perfectly fits that. It's 15 mins from Stansted Airport. It has a pub and an Indian restaurant. We just stayed for only overnight. There is a cafe close with a quaint antique shop, which serves Lunches and Teas. - Debden Barns. The old English towns of Thaxted and Saffron Walden are 3 miles away and have shops, restaurants, beautiful old churches and mediaeval architecture aplenty.
