Great location - close to the Cotswolds and Oxford, but better value accommodation. Lovely walk on the Thames path to Days lock. A picturesque village with Dorchester Abbey right in the heart with services anyone can join in. The choir and music are wonderful. Beautiful walks alongside the Rivers Thame and Thames, and if you are a fan of Midsomer Murders you will be in your element, quite a few scenes have been filmed here, you can even go on a Midsomer Murder walk around the village. It is a lovely quiet village with some nice walks to do and also you can go further afield if you want to visit Oxford. We did a good walk to the nearby Lock and there was a coffee shop to visit on our return that served light lunches and cakes etc. We ate our main meals in 2 hotels and both places had a good selection to choose from and the food was lovely.Guest review byLynnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely to have sash window rather than Aircon to be honest. And it was good to see a slip mat in the bath, so my husband felt easier getting In and out. You don't see those in hotels nowadays and so you have to use a towel. We couldn't fault any of the staff. Everyone was really nice and kind.
