I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish. Nestled right in front of Loch Ness, the views were nothing short of spectacular… waking up to that scenery was like a dream 🩷 The location is unbeatable, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the warmth and care of the incredible staff. They were not only professional, but genuinely sweet and thoughtful. It happened to be my birthday during the stay, and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. It was the kind of thoughtful service you never forget. The hotel itself has a lovely leisure vibe, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the Highlands. We did a lovely cruise through the Loch Ness and it was out of this world! The restaurant was fantastic, with delicious food and cozy ambiance… every meal felt like a treat but those mushrooms as starters are to dying for!!! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views, amazing food, and top-notch service, I wholeheartedly recommend the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel. It has been a few years since I was last in Drumnadrochit, It has grown since my last visit. More amenities for locals and tourists, the people their are friendly, The local hub was informative and there were a lot of information signs too. Great wee place to visit.

Drumnadrochit is a lovely village next to Loch ness, there are a few village shops and a couple of pubs. You can visit the Loch ness Centre, which tells you the history of the famous Loch ness Monster. I would also recommend booking a boat tour with Loch Ness Cruises in the Village. They take you out on the Loch with their boat the Nessy Hunter, which is very good. You also have Urquhart Castle down the road, I'd recommend getting the 919 bus, this will collect you from the bus stop by the Village green and take you straight to the castle. The Loch ness Inn is a good place for food or drink and does some lovely food. You also have access to some good woodland walks too.

I stayed overnight for work purposes and so I wasn't there for my own pleasure or recreation. That said. I've been through Drumnadrochit many a time and it has always been a quaint and enchanting little village with great scenery and excellent facilities. There's a few good pubs and places to eat as well as plenty of shops catering for the outdoor traveller along with the usual passing tourists. This is more of a stopover kind of place on the Great Glen Walk or the Loch Ness tourist trail and there is plenty here for the interest of most travellers.

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart...

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.

This is from previous experience as the hotel I stayed in was some distance outside. Drumnadrochit is a lovely little town and well worth stopping over for a night on your travels. The people are friendly and helpful and I have visited many times over the years and always found it pleasant.

Fab little village, friendly and welcoming. Great base for exploring the area. Just plan your evening meals as not much choice after 5pm. Everything Nessi related can be found here. Gift shops offer a great range. Plenty of forest/waterfall walks around the area as well.

The hotel is located close to Loch Ness in the lovely village of Drumnadrochit, which has a coffee shop, bar, and a restaurant (all very good!). A free car park is located next to the hotel, which was really convenient. The staff were friendly and very accommodating - I was able to check in early to change due to attending a funeral in Inverness. I had a peaceful and comfortable stay

The Loch Ness Clansman Hotel was quite a pleasant experience. The food was tasty, and the service was top-notch. The impressive selection of whisky truly made me believe that Scotland is the Land of Whisky. While the rooms were on the smaller side, they were comfortable and cozy. A great stay overall. This hotel is genuinely for Loch Ness enthusiasts.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel restaurant was closed the evening we were there and they organised a table for us with the village restaurant located 100m away (which was excellent). We were upgraded too - which is always a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. A really good breakfast.
