The Priory is an exceptional hotel. The service is excellent and the whole hotel is scrupulously clean and tidy. The grounds are lovely and the gardens interesting. Its position backing onto the River Frome adds to its charm. It is a great location for exploring and borders the Arne Nature Reserve. Bournemouth and Poole are in the vicinity and so are many of the lovely Dorset towns and villages. Breakfast was excellent. There is full menu available for the evening.

. A great restaurant/hotel.  The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, with a real fire & great staff.  The meal was delicious and the portions were huge. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely room above the pub with a nice range of breakfast bits available included in the price. Staff lovely and very helpful. Met the landlord who was very friendly, chatting about all the upcoming refurbishment plans! Cannot wait to come back, the Bere Regis and Wareham area has a special place in my heart!

The suite is spacious, clean and comfortable. Martin and Tracy are great hosts. The breakfast basket contained good quality products and was an unexpected bonus. I can highly recommend a stay at the Dairyman suite.

    It was nice, but you really need to be a golfer to fully...

    It was nice, but you really need to be a golfer to fully appreciate the Dorset Resort Hotel (it was very nice and comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast etc.), although we thought we would be staying in a separate lodge, but that's only for 4 people or more, so the website was misleading in that respect.
