The landlord was very helpfull with good advice for restauant, how to travel to Edinburgh, and was an amazing breakfast-Chef, respecting my no lactose/no carb diet. 😊🌻 Fine family, good dogs, good room and bathroom, car parking in the street, very quiet situation, 3 busses and train to Edinburgh... great!!

I think it's the first time I'm giving a hotel a full 10/10. I loved everything about The Raeburn. And as my friends and family would inform you I'm a very fastidious traveler. Location is not central- it's better than that. Reaburn is a brisk 10-min walk from all the hustle and bustle. It's got an amazing selection of cafes, restaurants, bookstores, knickknacks shops and more. The moment I stepped into the room my heart skipped a beat- I usually go for modern, sparsely decorated places but our room was an epitome of cosy comfort. It was pristinely clean. We enjoyed a spacious bathroom with a shower. My only regret is skipping breakfast- I had a long list of nearby cafes to test. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's money well spent. 100% would stay again.
