The house was beautiful, spacious and clean, the grounds pleasant to walk round and all very dog friendly. The breakfast had a good selection of full English or Continental and all very well cooked. Beautiful location in an old hall.
Beautiful location in an old hall. Our Sea-Biscuit Room was excellent with a huge bathroom with shower enclosure. A spa bath would have been an added luxury but you cant have everything, similarly the room would have benefited from a king sized, even a super king size bed and there would have still been loads of room. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent - we did not eat in the hotel at night so am unable to make a comment but if the food was as good as it was at breakfast then I am sure it will be excellent. Selection of wines and bottled beers available at usual prices for hotel of this quality. No spa or gym on site but I believe the RPG's sister hotel at Doxford has these facilities so may try that next year.Guest review byNickUnited Kingdom

The hotel was in a lovely location and the rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge chatting over a drink in the evenings. Staff were very polite and helpful, especially when being asked for extra hangers and a fan, as no air conditioning , as well as another light bulb.
