Perfect location in the town centre, plenty of parking at the back and easy access with a key card to the building. Comfortable beds and clean room. Great view to the canal (not sure if this is something you can choose or if it's random, but we luckily got stunning view) Price was okay for such center location.

The Pod itself was a whole new experience for us. The interiors were smartly planned out and sophisticated to ensure maximum comfort in the space. The location was just calm and superb with views of the highlands. It was just a 2 minute drive to the city-center. Sofia was super welcome and provided everything for us to relax and enjoy the place. The house is beautiful, full of lovely details that made our stay unforgettable. We also had a great breakfast!     Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.

    Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.

    Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises. Plenty of places to visit. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, gift shops. Fascinating watching the boats going up and down the series of locks. It certainly was not a disappointment.

    The local pubs are excellent for food and drink and the Loch boat tour (Cruise Loch Ness) is a must. Gorgeous little city, great for a 2 or 3 night stay. DelightfulNess is great for lunch and the Lock Inn does a brilliant dinner.

    Cute little town on the south end of Loch Ness.

    Cute little town on the south end of Loch Ness. It's quite in the mornings and evenings but gets very busy over day with day tourists by the bus load. Our accommodation was not on the main road, so we hardly noticed the other tourists. Great place for day touring to all four directions as we did.

    Fort Augustus definately worth a visit although gets very busy with tourists. We appreciated slightly quieter places with less people around. There are a few places to eat out and would recommend the Chinese food at the Richmond House Hotel where we were staying. A couple of pubs too which are right on the canal and providing a welcome rest

    Lovely wee village on the canal and loch, nice pubs some lovely shops and overall very nice place! Easy to walk around from central car park, if driving through watch out for the swing bridge, although it doesn’t take long to operate and is interesting to watch!

    Absolutely lovely, check in was so easy (self check-in) were able to arrive earlier too. Natalie is an amazing hostess, so friendly and effortless. Lovely little cake in the room on arrival, breakfast absolutely outstanding so much choice and really well cooked. Fantastic location for Fort Augustus and Loch Ness. My first EVER stay in a B&B and if we ever return will absolutely stay again, and will recommend highly to others!

    Beautiful location in the heart of Fort Augustus, a short walk to a fabulous Loch Ness viewing point. with our rooms overlooking the canalway lock system. Rooms themselves had everything we needed with lovely clean bathrooms and powerful walk-in showers. Very accommodating host.
