What a beautiful part of Scotland!
What a beautiful part of Scotland! It was both relaxing and peaceful. There were different things you could do and fantastic places to eat and grab a drink. The location is fantastic, making you feel like you are deep in the middle of the countryside when in actual fact Fortrose town is just 5 mins down the hill. Their lovable Jack Russell dog Broxy is really friendly and the rooms are very cosy and spotlessly clean. The evening meal and breakfast was good. The lady at breakfast was welcoming and chatty. The hotel is clear that it is a small basic, family run hotel, not part of a chain so we were not expecting a deluxe experience.
