We had the most wonderful day and evening and just wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was beautiful, the staff were so welcoming and helpful and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come back. The Old Bank at Rothley was really good and again wonderful staff and food. We stopped off at Market Harborough on the way down which was really lovely. There is lots to do round about, lovely gardens and halls to visit if you have the time and there looked to be lots of walks to do too.Guest review bytrewick - 10.0

Perfect location for us going to Camp Quirky. Lovely room, nothing extravagant, but a good atmosphere, great chair, very very comfy bed, really good en-suite shower room/ toilet. Water pressure in the shower was not the best, but we both had decent showers nonetheless. Very clean. Decent tea, coffee, kettle etc. Heating and bar fridge in the room were fine. A lovely place to stay.
A lovely place to stay. Breakfast was freshly prepared and plentiful, and my request for gluten free bread was not a problem. The room was small but had all that I needed for a 1 night stay. Being able to park close to the room was a bonus and the room setup being more like small cottages rather than a hotel with corridors. Hence easy to go for a stroll straight from the door into the pretty village/countryside surroundings. Grassy area with picnic benches just outside so nice to be able to enjoy some fresh air. Our room was spacious clean with own bathroom. We went for a walk along the main road with lovely views of country side. There is also the village pub where you could get lovely meal and drink.
