Beautiful beach walk a few minutes from our guest house. Lovely shops in the high street with a few cafes and resutarants to choose from.. Close to the Folk and Transport Museum. Only 20 minutes drive from Belfast City Centre one direction and half an hour from Bangor the other direction. Not sure about local transport as we had the car. Comfortable and we welcoming I wanted a good night's rest before travelling onwards. My sat nav took me to another house up the street instead of to the hotel. Lovely town and we walked a section of the coast. We ate at ‘Coast’ which was superb and good value and menu. Would strongly recommend Gweebarra for its luxurious BnB accommodation and a top host in Tim. Excellent breakfast and tea and coffee on tap. Hollywood is a good location, near to both Belfast and Bangor for those travelling along the coastline. The choice of shops is good, particularly for tea/coffee and breakfast in the mornings. The Dirty Duck is a great location for a drink or a bite to eat too. There’s a train station which seems to have a fairly regular service in either direction too. The bed is very comfortable & towels are all large & fluffy with extra ones if needed. We very much appreciated the tea & coffee, not to mention David popping in not long after we arrived with milk & biscuits! Holywood is a short walk away with lots of places to eat. The house had everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Communication with Suzie and Brian was clear and made getting in and out super easy.
