We had a very enjoyable day out in Plymouth, visiting Plymouth Hoe and King William’s docks. We drove to Bigbury, a lovely expanse of sand and walked across to Burgh Island at low tide. I was looking into my family history, I recommend the local library ,it's a real hub to the community. I had a wonderful afternoon there, I recommend a scones and hot chocolate as well. We were very lucky with the weather and had a wonderful walk on Dartmoor. We were happy with the local shops and parking. Ivybridge has much interesting local history too !
