    Lovely village with a couple of pubs, restaurants and...

    Lovely village with a couple of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Would recommend a trip to the National Justice Museum and Caves in Nottingham and East Midlands Airport Museum where you can take the kids to watch the planes take off and land. A walk along the River Soar is also well worth it and you can hire boats from Barrow Boating as well.

    A warm welcome from the bar staff, who also provided good information on where to eat dinner (Zaika recommended!) and breakfast as the Coach House doesn't provide food. For the money, the room was fine - spacious and clean with ensuite shower. The decor was a bit tired but the bed was comfy. Access from outside was via a steep metal staircase which was tricky with a heavy case, but I managed taking it steady.

    The facilities are basic but you get what you need. The room was larger than I expected. The radiator worked well. The bed was comfy. There was enough wardrobe storage space (not shown in photo). There's no TV or kettle but a very good Co-Op two doors down where you can get hot coffee and all you would expect from a Co-Op.

    The property was fabulous, really well organised, cooking facilities, a beautiful bedroom, which was surrounded by nature. It was extremely safe and secure, with main entrance being locked with a code pad. A great location too, easy to get the East Midlands airport, Nottingham, Derby and Leicestershire.
