    Very calm and nice litle town, close to nature as to the major hubs. Locals were particularly kind and friendly (though it is not a small village at all). Definitely recommended for seniors or families travelling with kids and/or dogs.

    Kidlington is a residential area just outside Oxford, but...

    Kidlington is a residential area just outside Oxford, but the bus service is amazing, and Oxford Parkway is a short bus ride (or even a walk if you less old and decrepit than us). We found it cheap and easy to travel to Oxford City Centre and to Abingdon by public transport. There are nice pubs and restaurants in Kidlington and we were able to buy nice food to cook from the Co-op.

    Great location to stay, close to Train station and Bus...

    Great location to stay, close to Train station and Bus terminus for quick and easy travel into Oxford city. Short drive to Blenheim Palace, beautiful villages like Woodstock, Chipping Norton and Burton-on-the-Water. Beautiful walks along the Oxford Canal or around the Batsford Arboretum.

    It seemed a decent place.

    It seemed a decent place. There was a lot of traffic at busy times, but that is to be expected so close to a city. Our accommodation was within a residential area, which was quiet and pleasant. Good supermarket not too far by car. Easy access to Oxford and handy for Blenheim Palace. Park and Ride also available into Oxford.

    Kidlingtonis a convenient place to stay for visiting...

    Kidlingtonis a convenient place to stay for visiting BlenheimPalace and Oxford. An hourly local bus service enabled us to visit Oxford without driving. Sturdys Castle is located outside Kidlington set back on a busy main road.

    The hotel is situated on a main road about 3 miles out of Kidlington- no public transport so car needed. But it is also about 3 miles from Woodstock, at a cheaper price than many of their hotels, with guaranteed easy parking. Oxford is about 8 miles and the efficient Park and Ride about 5 miles- but beware of major road works at present (March 2024)

    Everything,what was there not to love-The location was easily accessible,spacious parking,to park 3 cars comfortably,the place was very neat and brand new-modern decor,exactly like a 5* hotel setting with clean towels and bedding. The service was outstanding as the owner kept constant communications and attended to my queries promptly,checking in to ensure my stay was comfortable. I will definitely be referring everyone i know who plans to visit Oxford,please stay at Oxford studios and thank me later!

    Nothing to like here avoid at all costs you book a room then they take the keys and not leave them in the box and the day to you your a scammer and remove the keys avoid this property at all costs the main guys name is too and also his wife messages you the same thing you won’t receive a refund I was left on the doorstep for hours upon hours md had to get a hotel after they kept calling me a scammer (too) your the scammer 😁🙏🤦‍♂️

    Location is fairly close to Oxford, which was our main goal for a couple of days. There is a walking distance to a nice Gurkhu restaurant (and some more places for lunch/dinner, which we did not explore), and just a few minutes by car to Kidlington Sainsbury's. Also, there is a walking along the canal nearby.

    I liked everything about the bar and hotel. The staff were lovely, the location is beautiful with lots of country walks at their doorstep. The vegan options were so very tasty. The room was very comfortable and clean. We just enjoyed everything about our stay.
