The staff at the hotel were very helpful and professional. The room was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant offered a good choice of breakfast. We have also booked a massage and a SPA package. It was great :)

We stayed at Thomas Arms in Llanelli for 4 nights. The assistent manager and manager were very kind and very hard working men. They were super friendly. Rooms were good. Meals (we had breakfast and dinner) were great. We had lots of tea (ha ha, we are in Wales, so we really had to drink Welsh tea). Overall, you really have to go to Thomas Arms. Friendly, hard working staff. The location is very good and close to the old city centre. Trostre is about 30 minutes walk away. We had a good stay. Thank you very much. We forgot to ask your names (assistent manager and manager). We live far away but i know we will visit for a dinner or breakfast again this year. See you.

Had a great stay at this lovely property. Beautiful garden and outdoor space with a hot tube that was ready for us to get into on arrival. The host was very responsive and replied very quickly to any queries. In a more quiet area in south wales but only 15-20 minutes away from Swansea. Would highly recommend.

Modern, convenient and budget friendly room with nice clean appliances. Hair about the place though, bed and pillows which wasn't good, it isnt mine im bald and my girlfriend is blonde! Apart from this all was lovely. No hoover available or area to wash your dishes but we made do with shower and hand wash basin so not a problem

We hired a taxi to go see Three Mountains Cliff (one hour) - a wonderful place - go for the day! Also by train, great Temby station - magnificent beach very good pub Witherspoon 5 minutes from the hotel a good place to eat

The choice of places to eat were good with the owners giving...

The choice of places to eat were good with the owners giving us suggestions. The traffic signs could be confusing as they were in Welsh first then English, so you had to be very quick to read them. There's plenty of supermarkets but again be careful with the signage to get too them. GG's on the Gower is excellent for icecream. Infact the whole area is beautiful and we will extend our radius off exploitation next time we stay.

We only saw a little of Llanelli and it varied.

We only saw a little of Llanelli and it varied. Some areas were quite sad but there has been a lot of work done on the port and coast. The cycle paths are excellent and easy to follow. We had a Thai meal in town which was ok but they could use a little more chilli and spice. The locals are friendly and helpful.

I went to Llanelli to visit the Millenium Coastal Park.

I went to Llanelli to visit the Millenium Coastal Park. This was fantastic! Part Coast path, with several wildlife/ water lakes. Wide open areas of green park / accessible / paths for walkers and cyclists / dog walkers. - A dog walkers paradise! Plenty of areas to run off lead. Access to Beaches and stunning views ; and the railway all added to a great place to walk the coast to Burry Port. Interesting industrial history/ heritage boards along the way by the towns of Pwll and Bury Port. Hard to imagine what went on there in the last 300 years.... A Brilliant day out! For another fantastic day/ weekend / week away; I can thoroughly recommend Pembrey Country Park. Just 6 miles along the coast from Llanelli. SUPERB and STUNNING! with miles of blue flag beaches. Lots of fascinating industrial history. Loads to do for active people/ families/ dog lovers. Take a picnic and stay out for the day! Even peak season day parking is reasonable!! Brill!

Llanelli has a great golf course - Machynys - and it is...

Llanelli has a great golf course - Machynys - and it is handy for beaches and resorts in West Wales. Only about 20 minutes from Swansea. It used to have a great hotel but that has now been turned into an asylum seekers' hostel. Thoroughly recommend the Greenfield Inn> Down to earth, friendly and with good food. The chips, especially, are simply fabulous.

A 20 min walk from town. There's a footbridge over the stream taking you to Cattle and Co which saves another 5 to 10 minutes walk down to a roundabout. Once at World Horizons, make sure you go to the furthest door by the small car park. Not the first door with a code entry on it. The Common Room is huge with plenty of travel books, a big world map and lovely furniture. Close to the coast and had a great sunset. I was the only occupant on a Sunday night but felt very safe. Hope I can stay again as the bed was better than some hotels.

Large and spacious public areas and a cosy room. The hotel is in a pleasant housing area so the view question above is not relevant. Satosh, the manager, was very approachable and accommodating yet professional. I was upgraded to a double bedroom. It is an easy walk to the beach but equally and easy walk in the other direction to the town centre with lots of varying eateries.
