Every room was so spacious - especially the main bedroom with that wonderful bathroom. All beds were comfy. The kitchen was really well equipped. The lounges were so comfy and we loved having the open fire. The location was perfect for walking straight from the cottage.

The family who own the property are lovely, and they live in the house to which the property is attached. It is a working farm. Also the farmyard cat is super cute and friendly. It was lambing season and there were wonderful lambs leaping about in the fields by the property and their mothers' bleating was a soundstrack to my stay. There is plenty of wonderful walking to be done right from the door, and also from a short drive, to Lake Vyrnwy for example, or to Pistyll Rhaeadr. The post office / shop in the village is well stocked for your basic needs and has lovely staff. The lovely village of Llan Rhaeadr has great facilities with a cafe in the post office that does wonderful coffee and bacon baps, as well as a good Spar shop, and pubs which I didn't get to visit on this occasion, but will in the future. Back to the apartment - it is comfortable, clean, well-provisioned and has lovely views. But the hosts are the best thing - super lovely people.

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful location. Dinner in the restaurant was great. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if we’re lucky enough.

We love this area over the past 25 yrs knowing the history and changes taken place has been incredible. this location is just on the outskirts and yet close enough to travel to other places scenery is breath taking and peaceful

Staff very cheerful, helpful and efficient.

Staff very cheerful, helpful and efficient. The Tavern, despite having a face-lift since we were there before, lacked ambience. Brightly lit and not cosy. Disappointed that they no longer serve food( by way of a change from the hotel) All that said, we had a great time. Thank you

For hikers please be mindful that the left side of the lake...

For hikers please be mindful that the left side of the lake has been damaged by the storm few months back. So a portion of the left side of the lake is closed. There is a cafe near the dam which sells tasty cakes. There is plenty of walk paths you can enjoy and trek into. The location is dog friendly and family friendly.

Location, Lake Vernwy is very peaceful, and easy to get...

Location, Lake Vernwy is very peaceful, and easy to get around, by car, bike or walking, there are plenty of viewing area’s around the lake including bird watching sites and walks too. Once you’ve visited, you’ll go back again it’s canvas changes with the seasons.

The room was fantastic with a small terrace, facilities in the room and wider hotel were excellent. Staff were, helpful, attentive but never intrusive - breakfast was excellent. The location and views speak for themselves, a real bucket list place.

It was just beautiful.

It was just beautiful. I was thoroughly pampered in the spar for my birthday. And even though I had to have the equipment explained to me it was no bother. The restaurant manager gave us a glass of champagne on the house for my birthday. Which was a real nice touch. He even comped our rose prossecco as we got engaged on our room terrace at Sun rise. I can't wait to visit again. Maybe even look at holding my wedding here
