London is busy noisy and full of concrete. A lot of the sights were very expensive. Food was okay, don't believe a resturaunt telling you it's Italian because it isn't. A huge city as many others. Many things to see and experience, do some research up front and you will surely be pleased. One very positive experience: all public transport can be paid by contactless card with pay as you go, no prepayment needed. Fare is not expensive either. Food options are endless; from authentic South Asian and Middle Eastern restaurants to fine European dining. Shopping is fantastic, especially around Regent Street, Oxford Circus, and Covent Garden. Despite the occasional rain and chill, London’s atmosphere, history, and architecture make every walk enjoyable. Hampstead is a great area-lovely architecture, shops, cafes and walks in the streets or on the heath. Fenton House is definitely worth a visit. Chelsea Physic Garden is a beautiful, peaceful place and volunteers give very interesting talks about the history of the gardens and the plants and their medicinal uses.
