Very nice and cozy room with a great bathroom, located on an charming farm. All new appliances were available to us, with great services in the room from coffee to microwave and a smart tv with Sky. It is also located close to the main attractions in dorset like durdle door. Would reccomend to everyone

A truly beautiful location, with a rural country village feel. The cottage, though a new build I understand, has been sympathetically built in keeping with the surroundings, with reclaimed timbers, quarry tiles, a spiral staircase and lovely thatched roof. The house has everything you could wish for, providing comfort and a home away from home. There is also a comfortable outdoor seating/dining area with views across the neighbouring fields, where deer can be seen in the evenings - in fact some even came into the garden for breakfast! Best of all, the hosts were marvellous. They were extremely helpful, and very friendly, and made us feel most welcome. We were there to attend a sad occasion, but staying at this cottage made the rest of our time in the area extremely peaceful and relaxing.

Warm welcome, comfy bed, good food and drinks, excellent breakfast. I liked that we had allocated parking for our room. Also cold water and a fridge in the hallway outside the rooms. Room was modern and much nicer than expected. We were there Sunday evening and enjoyed a delicious roast dinner. We were very grateful for an early breakfast (pre-ordered) as we were catching a ferry. The village is good for an after dinner stroll, there's a Tesco express and another nice pub up the road. I'd definitely stay here again.

I had a cocktail before dinner, the night of my arrival. They were having a "Negroni Festival" -- 6 different variations on the Negroni. I had the Bergamot Negroni and it was fabulous. I then had dinner at the hotel. I ordered the French onion soup and a fillet steak. The food was delicious and the service delightful.

We stayed in room 6 which was large with a massive bathroom with a huge walk in shower. The room is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Access is easy and despite booking.com not sending me the codes it was sort instantly with one call. The location is great right by the harbour area with lots of restaurants and pubs on the doorstep.

    The Hide away is a perfect get-a-way.

    The Hide away is a perfect get-a-way. A wonderful escape, quiet and relaxing. Recommend to wake up early to see the little deer pass the window, the squirrels foraging for the hazel nuts from the tree in the garden.
