The room was lovely and very comfortable and Wendy, who greeted me on arrival and looked after me at breakfast time, was exceptional. Super friendly and helpful! The stand-out thing for me was the breakfast. I had the veggie one and it was just delicious! Super portion, freshly cooked, and just great!

The staff were extremely helpful with accommodating our late check-in. The room was fabulous - well equipped, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. The personal touches only added to our exceptional stay. Breakfast was delicious - served with quality, fresh ingredients.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. The English breakfast was tasty and filling. The restaurant wasn't open. However, we received a recommendation for a good restaurant in town, just a 5-minute walk away. The beach was also a 5 minute walk away. The town of Silverdale and the hotel are beautifully located.

    Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a must- wear your swimwear if...

    Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a must- wear your swimwear if you fancy a dip- I will be going back to do that in future! Windemere was great despite the rain, plenty to do and enjoy. Local area of rolling fields is irresistible- take walking boots! Trungs Chinese takeaway in Bolton-Le-Sands was delicious and a quick outing to collect. Ambleside Inn on our day out at the lakes was delicious!

    Fantastic place to use as a base, quiet village but on main...

    Fantastic place to use as a base, quiet village but on main route link to Morcombe, Windemere, lake district and Scotland. We visited loads of places of interest as well as our main focus, Cartmel races. Over Kellet also has a pub in walking distance with a friendly landlord who serves amazing food. Definitely recommend a stay in the village. Also a mile away from Capernwray Quarry dive site so perfect for scuba divers!
