The hotel was lovely, staff really friendly. The breakfast was delicious and to a high quality. The room itself was spacious, clean and well equipped for a family of 4. The beer garden out the back had a brilliant kids play area also. Location was perfect and a very short walk to the sea front.

The staff were extremely helpful with accommodating our late check-in. The room was fabulous - well equipped, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. The personal touches only added to our exceptional stay. Breakfast was delicious - served with quality, fresh ingredients.

Location was easy to find, beautiful setting. Dinner was really good on our first evening there and breakfast was scrumptious, with more than enough for anyone. All the staff were courteous and attentive. We'll done.

The Toll House Inn is well decorated and quaint. The rooms are clean and neat with extras like a hairdryer and hangers included. The bar/restaurant was busy but never noisy. Breakfast was wonderful and portions are large. We would have loved to stay for longer and would go back any time.

I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely room we had. The room was spacious, modern, & very well presented. Loved the bathroom. Pity we didn't stay for a meal, as the aromas from the kitchen were very enticing.

Loved every minute of my stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, the room has everything you need and is comfy & clean. The kitchen’s quality is absolutely amazing and serves delicious diner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend this place!

    Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a must- wear your swimwear if...

    Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a must- wear your swimwear if you fancy a dip- I will be going back to do that in future! Windemere was great despite the rain, plenty to do and enjoy. Local area of rolling fields is irresistible- take walking boots! Trungs Chinese takeaway in Bolton-Le-Sands was delicious and a quick outing to collect. Ambleside Inn on our day out at the lakes was delicious!

    Fantastic place to use as a base, quiet village but on main...

    Fantastic place to use as a base, quiet village but on main route link to Morcombe, Windemere, lake district and Scotland. We visited loads of places of interest as well as our main focus, Cartmel races. Over Kellet also has a pub in walking distance with a friendly landlord who serves amazing food. Definitely recommend a stay in the village. Also a mile away from Capernwray Quarry dive site so perfect for scuba divers!
