Great stay for my mum's 70th: - Lovely rooms and communal garden - There's a public footpath to the nearby village just behind the car park. Great views from the fields, especially at sunset. - Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. A special shout-out to Sam who went above and beyond and offered a glass of prosecco with some lovely sweet treats. Thank you! - Breakfast buffet was the cherry on top. Very varied

EVERYTHING!!! The staff Staff was super friendly and helpful, Michael greeted us with a a very charming Welcome!! and Rute at reception, they couldn’t do enough, they were so friendly and welcoming. The Room was fantastic. We were very surprised by the restaurant as the food was also not bad at all and good value too. totally 💯 recommended!!!! Ideal if you want to visit other places of interest and a more traditional ones. this is a New development , it felt so safe and if you are traveling by car, so easy to commute to Oxford town centre and Bicester.

Fantastic hotel. From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, every aspect of my stay was absolutely outstanding. First and foremost, the staff members were truly the highlight of our visit. Their warm and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself was nothing short of excellent. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and cozy ambiance. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Throughout my stay, I encountered no issues or inconveniences, thanks to the exceptional service and efficiency of the staff. They were readily available to answer any questions. One of the standout features of this hotel was its charming eating area – warm and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful decor, comfortable seating, and pleasant ambiance created the perfect setting for enjoying a delicious meal. The staff in the restaurant were attentive, friendly, and provided exceptional service, making each dining experience a true delight. The culinary delights offered at the hotel's restaurant were simply exquisite. The menu featured a wide array of delectable dishes, expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From breakfast to dinner, each meal was a gastronomic journey filled with delightful flavors and impeccable presentation. Whether I was indulging in a sumptuous breakfast buffet or savoring a mouthwatering dinner. In addition to the delightful eating area, the hotel boasted an enchanting garden. Young couple visiting Cotswolds for the first time . Absolutely outstanding hotel grounds! We could not believe the size of the place. We were delighted with the service of the staff they all worked hard , were attentive and the place was beautifully decorated and clean . Room was clean , spacious and cosy . Main house we really enjoyed exploring particularly the reception and billiard room! The spa was excellent with immaculate changing rooms . We went at a quiet time so had full use of the jacuzzis. Just what you need on a cold dry night. Dressing gowns in the rooms which were perfect if you took a chilly walk there. The food was delicious and plenty of options. We opted to have 3 courses at the travelling duke for 2 nights for only £25pp including steak ! We hope we can come back for a meal at the Brassiere as this was booked up every night. The value for the location, room, food, spa and hotel entertainment services was excellent. Didn’t use the golf course but it was appealing. Lots of activities to do too when you are there. The location was perfect and only a short drive to Chipping Norton and into other towns. Surprised it didn’t attract a younger crowd but we can’t wait to come back!

the atmosphere and the history was great! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The off street parking was fabulous and the beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and were really happy with this quirky pub!!
