The lobby area was great. Loved the decor! I loved all the seating areas. Loved the bar and coffee stations. The rooms were bad. The carpeting was taped up with electrical tape. The shower curtain had mold on it. The body wash dispenser was not filled. It was empty. One of the lightbulbs was out. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. A wonderful place—I come back every year!
A wonderful place—I come back every year! Paisley is well worth a visit, not only for its charm but also for the warmth and friendliness of the people. There are plenty of great spots to eat and drink; my personal favorites are Roasters Coffee Shop on High Street and the Wetherspoon’s pub conveniently located next to the train station. The town is also extremely well connected: just 10 minutes by train from Glasgow, home to Glasgow Airport, and a little over an hour by train to Edinburgh. Within Paisley itself, there are many attractions to enjoy, such as the historic Abbey and Coats Memorial, and soon the observatory and other sites will reopen to visitors. If you’re traveling to Glasgow, it’s definitely worth taking the time to stop by Paisley for a walk and to soak in its unique atmosphere.Guest review byMiguelSpain - 6.0

Paisley is a beautiful town with so much culture and history. It is a university town, a cathedral town and a town with beautiful buildings and a great heritage. The Paisley pattern was milled in the town of Paisley, therefore the name, Paisley pattern, The public transportation is excellent and the train station is right in the center of town, well you can take a train into Glasgow in 10 minutes and have access to trains going all over Scotland and the UK. As an elder former Paisley resident I cannot comment on the current state I have found during recent visits. Some historic locations have been redeveloped as happens everywhere in this modern age. Visitors may still discover places of intrest with a little searching and homework. Keep in mind most of our industrial heritage had been lost sadly.Guest review byMillar - 10.0
The heating in the room wasn’t working.
The heating in the room wasn’t working. A very small radiator was on. We were so cold but another radiator was provided. Bathroom heater was completely useless. It was a huge accessible room. Didn’t bother us too much as we were leaving early without taking a shower. However wouldn’t have liked to spend any time in there. Really needs to be much warmer in an exceptionally cold spell.
