The old village of Portlethen was very friendly.
The old village of Portlethen was very friendly. It is out of the way so you’ll need a car or money for taxis. The rooms at “the Neuk” come with a continental breakfast, which suited us perfectly. The food at “The Neuk” was different and very tasty, highly recommended! Portlethen is very near Stonehaven and Aberdeen in the car, perfect for exploring. Also went to Peterhead Prison Museum. Even though it was cold and we the only people on the premises and on the set of headphones tour, it was very informative and intriguing. I highly recommend this too. Thank you Gerry and May at “The Neuk” we enjoyed the holiday and your hospitality and the yummy food. We will return for sure!Guest review byKatieUnited Kingdom

However it was well away from the bar and so it was quiet. The hotel is on the edge of the houses leading down to the beach and it was a very pleasant walk down to the sea on a steep roadway & very old 'creel' paths past converted fishermen's cottages.Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom
