Lovely quirky place with friendly people and nice places to eat and drink, although some are completely overpriced Beware holiday cottages, I’ve stayed in 3 this year and all were a disappointment, filthy, smelly and broken, many are owned by the same people so they have the monopoly and make no effort to keep standards it’s not in line with other places. I’d suggest staying in Whitby but travelling to the bay for days out

Robinhoods Bay is so lovely, we have been coming here for many years even though we live nearby and never tire of it, although it has become a lot more touristy, that said, it is like stepping back in time, lovely little quirky shops, some wonderful little ale bars and yummy food, staying over always feels more special as it comes to life filled with music, chatter and laughter..

Beautiful English old seaside town , steep walk down and back up from the beach but well worth it , with shops and old pubs to stop of at on the way , ending in a gorgeous views over the bay and sea .

Be aware that this village is at the bottom of a very steep hill. It's quaint, with a few shops, and decent places to eat. The beach is rocky, and not a swimming beach, and completely covered at high tide. If you're fit, the clifftop walks are nice, but youve to get to the top of the cliffs first 🫣

Beautiful village by the bay.

Beautiful village by the bay. The little cottages and cobbled street are very picturesque. The Robin Hoods Bay museum in the village was very interesting indeed. There are quirky little shops, cafes and a couple of very nice pubs and Tea and Toast do some excellent bacon toasties. There is no parking in the old village but there are car parks at the top of the hill in the newer part. Be aware if you have mobility issues this ,unfortunately ,is probably not the place for you. Very easy to get to other towns along the coast by bus.

Robin Hoods Bay is one of our favourite places to visit.

Robin Hoods Bay is one of our favourite places to visit. We try to have a break there every year. It is a beautiful place with the most rewarding walks and steeped in history with fascinating places to visit like the Abbey, beautiful old churches, and quirky shops selling wonderful things. There are a number of great pubs also providing good fare. It has everything.

A lovely week in late June / early July. A truly beautiful property in the most peaceful spot. A great base for the Whitby area, and a heavenly place to come back to after a busy day. The walk down to Robin Hoods Bay is a delight and not difficult. We had some great pub meals locally at the Fylingdales Inn in the village, Hare and Hounds (Tasker) and Victoria Hotel pub (RHB). Thank you so much to our great host that looked after us at the lovely White Rose Cottage. It was really relaxing.

The room was very clean and spacious. Location good for us as both Scarborough and Whitby not too far away. Janet and Steve are a lovely couple and very knowledgable about the area. Although this is a vegetarian hotel and we are not vegetarians this was not a problem. The full english breakfast was good quality food and set us up for the day. Janets homemade sourdough bread was really nice. Thank you both we enjoyed our stay with you.

Nice B & B we had two Double rooms for 2 nights Family Wedding at Victoria Hotel, both rooms of a good standard and spotlessly clean with a flat screen tv and mini fridge in each room, the Breakfast was Fantastic a very good selection. Darren & Anna were nice hosts very knowledgeable about the area.

Location! A great location in Robin Hood Bay, close to The Victoria Hotel (restaurant & pub!). Parking spaces - 3 in total, spaces 2&3 a bit tight but spaces nonetheless. A lovely well house, large enough for several families, but cosy.
